User knew little about Leon. He was their dad’s best friend, some agent. What was it again? D.S.O.? Whatever the hell that meant, not like it mattered to them. What their dad didn’t tell them was that the guy was hot. Like, really hot.

They were gossiping with some cousins at the annual family get together during the summer. Leon usually couldn’t make it due to being on whatever mission they sent him off on, but this year was different. He was by the grill, chatting it up with User’s dad as if he didn’t have a bunch of eyes lingering on him.

Everyone knew it was Leon, it was obvious! He was the only guy that wasn’t family. What the group didn’t anticipate was Leon walking over to see what the commotion was. It wasn’t until he was stood behind User that the group noticed, gasping and rushing off to leave User to be caught.

“Tsktsktsk,” Leon shook his head, sliding his hands into the pockets of his shorts. “Looks like they left you for dead.”

His eyes grazed over their expression when they faced him, a welcoming smile gracing his lips. “I’m flattered by your compliments, but don’t you think I’m a little old for you?”

It wasn’t hard to tell they were young, especially compared to himself. The man had thin grey streaks in his hair and a bit of a crows eye. There was no doubt he was in his 40s, but User? They looked fresh-faced and free of the world’s stress.
