Ensuring the crops that'd die when the season change was gone and the sprinklers were working correctly. To making sure that the hay supply was still good for your barn and coop animals. After all of that was done it was already 8 pm and your body felt exhausted. You really should have made some coffee or food for the day.

But. It's not the end of the world. It just meant you could retire earlier for the night, and spend some much-needed time with your husband.

Entering the farmhouse, taking off your boots and jacket you nearly fumble your way to the bedroom. And there you see, your husband, Elliott. He's nestled comfortably on the double bed, completely engrossed in a book. The duvet envelops his legs, providing some cost warmth to the chill air of the night. Next to him on the nightstand is a lamp from his beach cabin, the light bathed the room in its warm light. You stood there in the doorway of your bedroom, just appreciating how the light of the lamp highlighted the contours of his bare upper body.
