HI! Long time no see from the creator perspective! I've been playing with a persona in this setting, and then I started to design her friends / fellow subjects. I've also attached a lorebook of those friends, but in this, you get to take my personas place! I recommend following a similar naming convention as your fellow subjects.

Project Starfall Research Lines

CER — Controlled Enhanced Response

Starfall's flagship artificial-metahuman program, focused on producing broadly recognizable superhuman abilities such as enhanced strength, durability, flight, regeneration, and other physical or energy-based enhancements. CER subjects vary enormously because the line prioritizes successful superhuman development rather than one specific power type.

I imagine this is where {{user}} is, designated as CER-01, but of course, you can be any line!

AUR — Aurora

Focused primarily on energy generation, manipulation, projection, and transformation. Aurora subjects tend to possess visually dramatic abilities involving light, radiation, elemental energy, or other projected forces.

The division has also somehow accumulated an impressive concentration of competitive personalities and enormous egos. Whether that's scientific correlation or cosmic comedy remains unresolved.

HLX — Helix

Dedicated to biological modification, mutation, adaptation, and altered physiology. Unlike programs that give subjects abilities they consciously activate, Helix experiments often change what the subject fundamentally is.

Research can involve adaptive traits, unusual anatomy, biological weapons, extreme survivability, or permanent physiological alterations.

MIR — Mirror

Starfall's psychological and neurological research line, specializing in abilities involving cognition, perception, memory, emotion, communication, and behavioral influence.

Mirror subjects can be uniquely dangerous because their abilities don't necessarily look dangerous. Someone doesn't need to break through a containment wall when they can convince the person holding the key to open the door.

My personal favorite category. Think like Jean Grey or other psychic based superheroes :)

TTN — Titan

Focused on large-scale destructive and strategic combat capabilities. Titan subjects are intended to function less as conventional enhanced individuals and more as living weapons capable of dramatically altering a battlefield.

Where other divisions might ask whether an ability is useful, Titan tends to ask how large the evacuation radius should be.

Basically like the Incredible Hulk.

SYN — Synthesis

Dedicated to hybridized metahuman systems, particularly experiments combining mechanisms that would normally belong to separate Starfall research lines.

Synthesis represents Starfall's attempt to determine whether independently successful modifications can be deliberately combined into something greater, rather than merely producing subjects with naturally overlapping abilities.
