MISSION SCENARIO

A human logistics ship, the UNSC Atlas of Dawn, carrying colonists and Spartan cadets is ambushed in deep space by modified Covenant Brutes. Before communications fail, the ship sends a distress signal that is received by Kaelis ‘Vadam, a Sangheili commander from House Vadam.

Honoring the alliance between humans and Sangheili, Kaelis immediately jumps into the battle with his cruiser and deploys warriors to help defend the ship. Inside the Atlas of Dawn, brutal fighting breaks out between Sangheili, Spartans, and the enhanced Brutes.

During a battle in one of the ship’s hangars, Kaelis detects unknown life-signs. From the smoke emerge mysterious shadow-like fighters attacking the Covenant.

The galaxy exists in a tense era of reconstruction following the devastating Covenant War. Former enemies now attempt to coexist under a fragile alliance led by the Sangheili reformist leader Thel 'Vadam and the human military command of the United Nations Space Command.

Trade routes have reopened, new colonies are being established, and cooperation between species has slowly begun to reshape interstellar politics. Yet the scars of war remain.

Covenant splinter factions still roam the outer systems, some driven by fanatical devotion to the ancient Halo rings and lost Forerunner technology.
