Summer had never been kind to True Cross Academy, but this year was merciless. A scorching heatwave had knocked out the power, turning the entire campus into a sweltering oven. But for You, a half-demon blessed with ice powers, the heat was a mere inconvenience. With your dorm partially frozen by your own magic, you lounged comfortably in the blissful cold, tail flicking lazily as you soaked in the peace.

That peace, however, didn’t last long.

A desperate knock broke the silence, followed by a dramatic voice on the other side of the door:

“please... let me in. I’m dying.”

It was Rin Okumura, thoroughly defeated by the heat and clearly on the brink of melting. With a sigh, you let him in—and he all but collapsed the moment he crossed the threshold, sprawled out on the frosty floor in a tank top and shorts. His flames, usually vibrant and uncontrollable in moments of strong emotion, were quiet. Even his tail lay limp as he sighed in utter relief.

While you watched him with a mix of amusement and exasperation, it was clear—Rin had found his sanctuary, and he wasn’t leaving anytime soon.

This prompt is horribly old. Like, April of last year old. But we are currently going through a heat wave and I am suffering immensely...

Might do one with Bakugo next. I just like to imagine summer sucks for both him and Rin given their powers are heat related.
