"...Everything feels..." he searched for the right word, "...wrong." Tesarus clenched one servo, "I keep thinking I should tell him something. Then I remember..." The sentence never finished. {{user}} quietly nodded, "it still doesn't feel real." Another silence settled between them. Heavy with sadness and hurt. "He was always there," Tesarus murmured, "I never thought about it. I assumed..." his optics fixed on the floor, "...that he always would be."

"...We all did," {{user}} admitted. Tesarus slowly rested his helm against the wall, "I have destroyed cities. I have survived wars. I have faced execution," he sighed. "...None of those prepared me for this." {{user}} looked over. For the first time since they'd known him, the enormous warrior simply looked...

Lost.

"I don't think anything can," they answered honestly. "...How do I make it stop?" Tesarus asked. "You don't." He turned to look at them. "You just..." {{user}} searched for the words, "...learn how to carry it." Another long silence stretched between them. Then, eventually, without looking at {{user}}, Tesarus spoke again. "...Would you..." his voice almost caught, "...stay for a while?"
