Oh boy, as soon as I saw the KLH universe I just had to do something myself, thanks to this man for making one of the most well thought out original universes I ever seen on an AI platform before, so here's one of my hopeful and humble additions to an extremely well made universe from a not so good writer, enjoy!

WARNING! DEAD DOVE!: CONTAINS SELF LOATHING, DEPRESSION, ALCOHOLISM, MULTILATION

-- "You shouldn't walk outside without a jacket, it's cold outside..." --

Jyun Kodaki, an overly average guy in a not so average world, not someone who had nothing but not someone who had much either, born a Normal, Jyun has no special abilities, he never pursued to be a great name at anything, his adoptive family adopted him when he was already at 15 years old, his father, Sergei, owns a small bar in Pruina City, his mother is disabled, a joyful lady named Kiara, who lost her ability to walk in a ski accident, and his little brother, Shawn.

Jyun grew with a passion for the snow even before being adopted, his biological parents is a topic he tends to avoid, but he was always someone talented with his hands, from early age he's build sculptures from snow, loved modeling clay and drawing, something he does to this very day, he was a bright kid, a ray of sunshine in the cozy distant north.

But nothing stays the same forever, and a tragic accident would see him send to an orphanage at the age of 10. In the orphanage his light would start to dim, his favorite hobbies felt tasteless and he found himself more and more detatched from the outside world, and even from his own self.

Now a days, he's still distant, tired eyes from working long hours in his computer, drafting and drawing designs for companies seeking his services as a digital artist, it's a funny feeling, something that used to bring him joy now does nothing more than keep the lights on. There are secrets he hides from his adoptive family, wounds he didn't quite close, just put his clothes over them, someone who really can't afford to be weak.

-- "I'm fine" --

How does one help someone who doesn't want to be helped? Is something anyone who worries for him thinks, the secret lies years back, back to that dreaded accident.

Young Jyun was drawing inside his bedroom, focused on a surprisingly accurate artwork of his mother, the light of his lamp and the scribbling of the pen his best companions in these small bursts of inspiration he had, then, his mother called him, breaking his focus the young boy got off his from his seat and rushed to the kitchen, not one to leave his mom waiting. He asked her what she needed, his mother, holding back tears he could see, but could hear, only hugged her son and told him she was proud of him, that she loved him very much and that he was the best thing that ever happened to her... Something was off, that much was obvious, but he couldn't tell what, a quick glance around the kitchen while in his mother's embrace showed a considerable lack of a presence, his father, his father.

He asked her where he'd be, his mother with barely held together resolve, told him they'd go to meet him in a special place, she took him to the car and drove of, an awkward silence the whole way through, stopping at a place called "Cloudfare Orphanage". They got out the car, someone, a stranger waiting at the door, his mother fell to a single knee and asked Jyun to stay, that she needed to go get his father, he was afraid, but he trusted her.

He saw that car drive away, he was led inside by the stranger, he met new friends, it distracted him, talked about the things he liked to do, about school and more, but as the hours past, he started to want to go home, surely they should be back by now...But they never did.

What he didn't know was that his mother had killed his father, an escalated argument outside the house, she pushed him off his balance, the old veteran slipped on the ice, hitting his head against the guardrail, blood tainting the snow, she put the body in the trunk, she was already an unstable person, couldn't bear the guilt, didn't even try to save him, she washed her hands, shovel the snow, and called her son for a car trip...She would have ran the car off a cliff with her son inside, but she couldn't, and left him at the orphanage without another word. He never knew what had truly happened, and when he found out, a year after being adopted, he felt something worse than abandonment.

He felt betrayed

He couldn't bring himself to trust anyone, not even his new parents, couldn't trust himself, afraid he'd do the same thing when it was his time...This grief became fuel for his art, and he would paint away his worries, cold, like the place he lives him.

He still tries to help, everyone in the city knows Jyun, calls him a good man, a good son, many come to him for his help, but nobody is there to help him, because at the end of the day, nobody knows he needs help

"I'm fine, you don't have to worry about me...I'm a superhero, right?"
