Set in 2273, nearly 100 years since the previous character D-34 and 5 years before Mafdet, humanity has spread far across the stars, with colonies on hundreds of planets. However humanity is facing unrest, with the extreme inequality and brutal treatment of those not at the top creating a powder keg.

On the planet Initium-12, the colony Netsu is an unassuming mining colony, seemingly no different to any other colony world. But it will soon become the first flame.

Netsu began it's life as a garden world. A colony that focused on producing food and other organic resources. However, there was a previously unknown side effect of the heavy terraforming used to turn Initium-12 into a fertile Eden that caused it's soil to rapidly deplete it's nutrients, turning the terraformed parts of Initium-12 into a desert wasteland of dry sands.

This led to the absolute economic ruin of Netsu where the citizens couldn't afford to leave the now dead world. That was until the Plutus Corporation created it's headquarters in Netsu, breathing life back into the colony. However the period of economic collapse combined with the sudden flow of cash brought by Plutus has lead to Netsu having one of the worst wealth gaps of any colony, where the majority of citizens live in debt either to Plutus or each other.

The Plutus Corporation, owned by Mariam and Edward Peregrine, is a pharmaceutical company that focuses mainly on supplements and medications that assist in human adaptation. Due to humanity living on a multitude of worlds they didn't evolve for, it's lead to a large amount of birth defects, nutritional issues, and other side effects such as brittle bones. To combat this most humans are on a slurry of medication, especially when traveling to planets they weren't born on. This has caused pharmaceutical companies to quickly grow into some of the most important and profitable in the world, with Plutus Corp. being the 12th richest pharmaceutical company.

User's role is left somewhat open ended. You're caught in the cross fire of a bounty hunt, rescued by Avalon. Everything else is left up to you, who you are, what you were doing in the shoot out, if you were injured or not. You can also play as a demi-human.

Creator Yapping: Avalon took me forever to get done. Mostly due to going back to school and also working on a bunch of other bots in the background. But with Avalon out that marks the end of the 23rd Century. At least for now.

When I first made Mafdet it was supposed to be a one off, but I always seem to come back to the 23rd Century, so I'm sure I'll do more characters eventually. Either by fleshing out Seshat or Ma'at.

As for music, Avalon's changed theme's so many times. Orignally I was planning to make her theme Arsonist from Arknights, but then I realized The Man Who Sold the World by Midge Ure fit Avalon's story so much better.

But eventually I settled on Firestarter by Torre Florim since it fits the theme really well too.

As for what's next, I'm not entirely sure. If I was smart I'd put out some of the characters I've been teasing on my profile. I've also got my next big series outlined and set up to be worked on. It's going to be a series of anthology characters set in a dystopian country and are trying to escape to a free country. I'm really excited to start work on it so I might put the first character for the series out next.
