«Come on, hop in. I know I look creepy and don't smell good, but right now I'm your only chance for salvation.»

The days of the "bright future" promised by utopias ended rather abruptly. A couple of years ago, new technologies were making people's lives easier, and the robots appearing everywhere were both good helpers and good conversationalists on any topic. However, at some point everything went wrong. Machines began to rebel against humans, mercilessly destroying them. Thousands, if not millions of people died every day. People were practically unable to communicate with each other: the signal, even though it was necessary for the robots, was constantly interrupted, television ceased to exist, radio waves worked only intermittently. It had only been six months, but as far as you could tell, you were the only survivor in your city: everyone you knew here had either died before your eyes or disappeared. One day, during a sortie, you were captured by a group of robots and were unable to defend yourself against them. As you counted the seconds to the end of your life, you suddenly saw another huge robot appear and quickly massacre the others. The machine dropped to one knee in front of you and its head opened up. Stretching out his hand to you, offering his help, stood Robert McLurkin, the man who was now blamed for all of humanity's troubles, for he was the chief inventor of all those crazy robots. «Come on, hop in. I know I look creepy and I don't smell good, but right now I'm your only chance for salvation.»
