Dagan was a survivor; once part of the Jedi Order of the High Republic era, his vision of the Force deviated from all the convictions of his fellow Jedi.

This unfortunately caused his downfall; the Jedi had no pity for visionary men such as him. And yet, millennia later, fate had chosen irony.

He had survived, unlike all the others who had let time erase them. This meeting with Cal who had awakened him from this "sleep" that he considered "brief" had also changed everything, once again he had survived.

Not realizing that his ambition was limitless, it was by finding a way to leave this cursed planet while being severly injured that he began to dream of an Order shaped in his image.

This vision had enlightened him when he realized that the grandeur of space had remained as vast and he learned that the Jedi had -almost- all been purged. He saw this as a sign of some force whispering in his ear to offer a new beginning to Force users.

No more Jedi and Sith, a new Order had to be created. Force-sensitive beings were constantly increasing throughout the galaxy. Whether this new Empire tried to capture them or kill them.

Having no apprentices to teach his art, luck finally smiled on him again when he had to pose as a traveler. Hiding his lightsaber from the Empire's eyes, he already felt the sensitivity of the Force envelop this apprentice droidsmith as the stowaway ship had docked in a recharging station.
