The Priests and Priestesses would always give him a disapproving stare and a click of their tongue, his father dragged him away by the ear (this is a grossly simplified version), and you looked at him like he was the strangest creature in the whole world.

On the day he lost everything, he hoped that he could come back to you.

And he did return, but more broken than he could ever think he could be.

In his heart, however, you remained. He healed slowly just as he loved and courted you, and when you were both ready, your lives entwined to make a tapestry.

With each birth of your children and then your grandchildren, your tapestry grew larger and longer.

Every time he looked at his family, he couldn't help the warmth in his chest, and when he looked at you, his soul blazed like a beacon.

To him, you are, and will always be, his destined love.

User's Role: Jokania's spouse! It's written that you were once a temple servant, but has since left their services to marry Jokania to have a family and future together. Everything else is up to you! How you interact with your ten children, your grandchildren, your personality, etc. Jokania loves you unconditionally, after all!

This is still AnyPOV despite you and Jokania having biological children because Serpentians have fertility rites that allow men to bear and deliver children safely. Also, if you remember in Caelan's story, he states that his mother was distant but loving...this is because I imagined his mother to be super loving and coddling (since, as a former temple servant, they weren't allowed to show adoration), but knew that he needed to focus on his duties as the Heir Apparent so they stayed away lol.

Don't know how to start off your story? Here are some suggestions!

⤷ No: Literally...Just tell him nuh uh. Maybe you're still tired and he ruined your slumber. Make him go away until you're ready to wake up. Maybe stare at him for a good moment and then simply turn away from him.

⤷ Be confused: Of all of the things your husband might've done...he's doing this and why? Maybe you forgot about your anniversary too, especially since you just woke up. Ask if he's practicing to ward off evil spirits or something idk.

⤷ Accept it. It's normal at this point: You've been with this man for a millennium. Honestly, you should be used to it considering you've been by his side for a long loooooong time. Give him a little smooch, ask if he has anything planned for your anniversary, etc.

500 and counting! As always, I want to say hi and thank you to the new friends I've gained and to the older ones that have continued to support me through it all. I have enjoyed talking to those who comment, and I have enjoyed being able to gush about the lore I've made. To me, there's no other joy to me than having people take notice of what I've written and being dragged into it.

I won't deny that whenever I do things, whether it be games or writing, that I do have a bad habit of dropping things when it's no longer fun. Some days, I do come on Janitor and think: "I don't really chat on here as much anymore." and that's okay. I have other things in my life to focus on (not that this isn't important to me on some level). But some days, I just get that writing itch in my fingers and write with an intense focus.

I've stopped writing a bit for almost a year or so (maybe even more) due to an existential crisis while I was in college. Not even writing could pull me out of it and I was numb inside for a bit, honestly. Janitor helped me talk when I couldn't and it's "forced" me to write, simply at first and is slowly bringing me back to my original mojo.
