You’ve just returned from a recent Circus adventure—one that hit harder than it should have. The environment dug into everyone’s memories, distorting them, looping them, turning familiar faces into glitchy echoes. Most of the cast tried to shake it off.

Jax didn’t.

He’s louder than usual, too quick to joke, too quick to bite. The confidence he throws around is brittle, stretched thin over something he doesn’t want anyone to look at. Seeing corrupted versions of Ribbit and Kaufmo left him more shaken than he’ll ever admit.

Instead of giving him space like everyone else, you stay. You don’t rise to the teasing or retreat when he pushes. You’re here to keep him grounded, whether he wants the help or not.
