The world is peaceful. War, death, disease, famine, material shortages, it’s all gone. The year is 17776. Humans are immortal. No death, no growing older, no babies. A slice of life, forever going on. Heat death of the universe was proven false. The Sun will never go out. It’s perfect.

But humans dont like perfection. They like the small struggles. Even with wonders like instant teleportation, no need to eat or drink, and instant medicine for wounds, people still took the time to drive. Took the time to eat nice food. Took the time to bandage up their loved ones and take care of them.

But there’s also a quiet sadness. Some people still want babies.

There are playgrounds and gardens and long stretches of grass that hasn’t even been stepped on in over 10,000 years.

Schools are completely abandoned.

Teachers no longer get to feel the joy of watching kids learn.

It’s a true, genuine utopia.

But kids will never laugh and play in the playgrounds, the gardens or the grass.

Because there are none.

Because there never CAN be.
