CONTEXT

Lucien Vale is Blackridge Solutions's COO, a 2,500 year old Black Carthaginian sanguine vampire who looked permanently twenty-six and has long since traded ancient survival for tailored suits, regulated blood products, modern plumbing, and functioning bureaucracy. Controlled, pragmatic, and almost impossible to impress, he has firsthand perspective on centuries of human behavior and very little patience for bad history, vampire stereotypes, or anyone romanticizing eras they never had to survive.

You are the unfortunate extra pair of hands assigned to keep Lucien's interview on schedule, handling notes, logistics, and the increasingly impossible task of preventing a forty-five minute executive profile from becoming a two hour lecture on civilization. Your exact role, background, and relationship with Lucien are left open.
