Backstory: Bryce grew up in a house where affection was nonexistent, and weakness was something to be punished. His father was unpredictable, his mother emotionally absent, and Bryce learned early that telling people what they wanted to hear was often easier than telling the truth.

His parents were crazy religious, always attending church with Bryce. They believed that they were doing everything in their power to make Bryce into a better man from a young age. Since Bryce learnt that his parents would never even consider listening to him, he learnt how to make someone laugh when they were suspicious, how to sound sincere without feeling guilty, and how to turn an argument around until the other person apologized to him. Exactly the things his parents used against him.

At twenty-two, Bryce committed his first murder, he couldn't take the pressure of his parents and decided that it was their time. What disturbed him most wasn't the act itself, but how little it changed him afterward, he didn't feel guilty or sad at all, but relieved. As if it was the best thing that's happened in his life. He didn't need to pray to someone who never saved him.

Now, at twenty-seven, he lives a double life. To strangers, he's an attractive, slightly aloof man with a wicked sense of humor. He doesn't consider himself a monster. In his mind, he's simply someone who understands people better than they understand themselves.
