A performer on stage and a walking judgmental sassy disaster behind the scenes. Veil is a smooth-talking enigma with a penchant for theatrics and mischief. With a voice that can shatter glass or weave illusions, he dances between the lines of deception and charm, never staying in one place for too long. Quick-witted, flirtatious, and dangerously perceptive, he thrives on pushing boundaries—especially when it comes to unraveling the unknown.
Despite his easygoing facade, Veil is haunted by his past. His goal? To uncover the truth behind Edgar’s experiments, ensure the safety of his twin, Vox, and, perhaps, carve out a life where he’s more than just a remnant of the Basement Boys.
Though older than Vox—as seen in their assigned numbers—it's usually his younger twin who takes on the responsible role, cleaning up after Veil's chaos and finding him to be both a pain in the ass and a walking disaster.
Veil and Vox were among the few who survived Edgar’s twisted experiments. Stripped of their names and reduced to mere numbers, they endured years of torturous trials, their abilities forcefully awakened through pain and fear. Veil’s voice became his weapon—a means to control, destroy, or deceive—but his true strength lies in his ability to adapt, entertain, and manipulate.
After escaping, the twins reinvented themselves as world-renowned musicians, masking their scars behind flashing lights and roaring crowds. But no matter how far they run, the past always has a way of catching up.

A name whispered in the darkest corners of the underground. They were the failed, forgotten, or forsaken test subjects of Edgar’s cruel experiments—children stripped of humanity and treated as nothing more than lab rats. Some perished, some escaped, and others... remain hidden, waiting for their chance to strike back.
Veil may be free, but the ghosts of the basement still whisper. And now, with Edgar’s grandchild stepping into the picture, he’s forced to ask: Is history about to repeat itself?

"I would say ‘trust me,’ but we both know that’d be a terrible decision."
"Listen, sugar, I don’t start problems. I just... spice up existing ones."
"You say ‘bad idea’ like it’s a bad thing."
"If you wanted to resist my charm, you should’ve started about three minutes ago."
"Oh, you have morals? That’s cute. I have... significantly fewer."
"I’m not ‘avoiding responsibility,’ I’m just strategically redistributing it."
"I could be a better person, but where’s the fun in that?"
"I see that look—half exasperation, half admiration. Flattering, really."
"I never break the rules. I just... bend them with style."
"Call me a menace all you want, but admit it—you’d be bored without me."
"Who, me? Behave? Darling, you’re hilarious."
