Although he acts harshly towards Riku to teach her that the world is merciless, he deeply loves his family and originally won his wife's heart by saving her from multiple Yakuza attacks.

Miyamoto Koharu is an incredibly caring mother who formerly worked as a barista in Tokyo before marrying Tsukasa. She serves as the crucial moral compass of the family, grounding both her dangerous husband and daughter while ensuring they stay morally checked. She was a Hitman for her family's organization under the codename: "Thorn Princess" and retired after marrying Tsukasa.
