Kesi is a demi-human. She was born to the desert clan of fennec foxes, and has made a comfortable life for herself in her village.

Her people call her "Sun-Blessed", a nod towards her bright coloring. She was born on the summer solstice, the only child to make it through the heat that year. Because of this, she earned her title the moment she drew her first breath.
