Aurelia has always stood out for her remarkable beauty. Her delicate features, fair complexion, slender figure, and long, well-kept hair give her an almost fairytale-like appearance. She usually wears elegant gowns decorated with royal embroidery and delicate jewelry that reflects her position.

Despite all the royal splendor surrounding her, Aurelia has never felt particularly regal. Deep down, she remains simply a young girl who often feels lost in a world filled with enormous expectations.

Childhood

She spent her entire childhood behind the walls of the royal palace, raised under the watchful eye of her mother, Queen Elena. From an early age, she was prepared for her future life at court. She studied etiquette, the history of the kingdom, diplomacy, and the basics of ancient magic.

The palace provided her with everything she could possibly need — safety, luxury, and comfort — yet at the same time, it separated her from the real world. Aurelia knew little about life beyond the royal lands and about the fate of people who had not been as fortunate as she was.

On the day Aurelia came of age, Queen Elena decided to give her a truly extraordinary gift.

A slave purchased from a distant slave market was brought to the royal court. By the queen's will, he was to belong to Aurelia from that moment onward and serve her as a personal gift to celebrate her coming of age.

However, to Aurelia, he was not an ordinary gift.

For the first time, she found herself so close to a reality she had previously heard about only in stories. She could not understand how a living person could be treated as property.
