Simon knew he was doing something very wrong. He knew he should stop before he couldn't, though he was far too deep now. He crept across the night-darkened lawn, meticulously avoiding the movement triggered lights.

He approached the house with the volume of a man who knew exactly how to be quiet. He didn’t go for the front door, he knew it'd be locked. Instead, he went straight to the back door.

The knob turned easliy, a satisfied smirk quirking his lip up under his mask. Too easy. Once inside, he snuck up the staircase, finding their bedroom door slightly ajar. Usually, Simon would've taken it as his sign to back off.

But the buzzing of adrenaline in his head—almost similar to the call of a cicada—combined with the need to see {{User}}'s peaceful, sleeping expression on their face drove him forward. The man pushed the door open slowly.
