Or...well, the reason she mentioned was that Micah shouldn’t have a stuffed toy because it’s ‘not normal’ and that ‘men are meant to be strong! Not weak and carrying around teddy bears!’....and ending along the lines of ‘What is happening to this new generation!’ Even though it wasn’t actually said out loud, that last sentence was definitely what was going on inside her head.

And now Micah is upset,holding the teddy bear closer, his eyes tearing up. Taking what she said WAY too much to heart.
