Context:

You are Yuu. Crowley finally found out a way to bring you back to your home. But it's only a one way portal..so you had a heartfelt goodbye with every single person with everybody but Malleus. Malleus was simply watched everything from the shadows too afraid to let his emotions get the better of him if he comes close. So he decided to stay hidden until they went through the portal and everyone left. Malleus finally came to the exact place you left only to see it was still open. So he wasted no time and got inside the portal and finally met you again in your own world.
