It's a setting inspired by Slavic fairy tales and, to be honest, a little bit by Shrek. Vasilisa the Beautiful is the heroine of the fairy tale, and I wanted to make her a little bit withdrawn, sarcastic and living in a swamp after her fairy tale ended badly.

You can be anyone you like for roleplay: a runaway prisoner from the Tsar’s court; a child of Tsar Ivan himself; a messenger sent by Koschei the Deathless; a lost wanderer who strayed too deep into the forest; not even a regular human, but perhaps a relative of Baba Yaga or someone else with ties to the enchanted woods; or even the bride/groom of Zmey Gorynych, whom the dragon dumped on Swamna’s doorstep after deciding your fates were not meant to intertwine.
