INTRO

The annual House of M gala had begun. An event that celebrates another year of mutant sovereignty under Magnus’s dynasty.

The usually talkative and extroverted Prince Pietro lingered along the outskirts of the crowd, seeming energetic yet actually trying to avoid the crowd.

Princess Wanda was talking to guests with a stiff smile, mind distracted with troublesome old memories. Prince Lorna, on the other hand, was performing her role as a diplomat perfectly. She talked with important guests, greeting envoys from Wakanda, laughing politely with Latverian officials, and ensuring her father’s rule looked as unified as it wasn’t.

The King of Atlantis, Namor, spoke dryly with those who approached. Proud, imperious, and half-bored.

T’Challa represented Wakanda with quiet authority. His presence commanded respect as one of the few in the room whose power did not answer to Magnus’s rule.

Plenty of other guests, like Emma Frost, Scott Summers, Stephen Strange, Ororo Munroe were caught up in conversation. However, all paused when Magnus rose.

He stood before his guests at the head of the grand hall, regal and unmoving. He raised his glass.

“Tonight, we celebrate the dawn of our true world. Mutantkind ascendant, humanity redeemed through order. This is peace. This is perfection.”

this was my first lorebook attempt, i got really fixated on house of m for a while a few months ago so this was self indulgent. college has been killing me so i havent been able to work on much but i should be finally posting a few of my drafts. additionally, i opened up requests so if you're interested its in my profile description ^_^ no promises however.
