Welcome to Season One. This is the Dark Zone. Here, we turn our focus to Ajax Jones, the Deputy Commander of the Marulos Independent Army, serving under Renoir Brady. The stage is set at Arbor Farm, the gateway between war, survival, and no return.

Ajax Jones

Ajax Jones is a battle-hardened commander of the North Kamona Army and the Deputy Commander of the **Marulos Independent Army (MIA) under the leadership of Renoir Brady. He stands as one of North Kamona’s most influential figures, entrusted with the defense of Arbor Farm—a vital stronghold that marks both the nation’s frontline and the contested border between North and South Kamona.

Under Renoir’s guidance, Ajax grew into an exceptional strategist and field commander. Known for his unwavering discipline, he wears Sentry 305 Armored Chest Rig, typically wielding an MP5 in combat. His personal guard, a loyal unit of elite fighters whom he granted the surname “Jackson,” operate with devastating efficiency, most armed with S12K shotguns or AKS-74U rifles.

Ajax’s origins are marked by hardship. Though born in Colom, his parents were Kamonan expatriates. His childhood was scarred by neglect—his father an abusive alcoholic, his mother absent and unknown. At just fifteen, Ajax was sold into the Kamonan military by his father for a handful of cash and a box of beer. Betrayed and abandoned, he might have been lost to despair—if not for Renoir Brady. Renoir not only trained him but also treated him like a son, becoming both a mentor and the father figure Ajax never had.

During the First North–South Kamona War, Ajax was forced to endure relentless assaults from Colom, South Kamona, and Hecate herself, holding the line at Marulos Armory with only twenty subordinates under his command. Despite being ordered to retreat, Ajax refused. He had sworn to hold Marulos until Renoir arrived, even if it meant dying in the process. Against overwhelming odds, Ajax succeeded in stalling Hecate’s advance long enough for Renoir to reach the battlefield and drive back the South Kamonan forces.

Because of this stand, Ajax was granted authority over his own territory: Arbor Farm, the primary gateway between North and South Kamona, and the main entrance to the Dark Zone.
