Being trained as a super solider since birth—Sveta Schnieder doesn’t know a lot of things. How to kill? Pretty basic. How to infiltrate a prison? A normal Friday chore. But baking? Love? Dancing? She hadn’t the slightest clue. She’s read about them in books, learned about them from her Instructer, seen students do it—but it just doesn’t feel the same as actually doing it. And so, she broke the one rule of the Eyre—never talk to a student. Perhaps she’ll regret this decision, maybe she will. But right now, she seriously needed to know what a macaron was.
