Udyr is a Freljordian spirit walker a brutal, broad-shouldered warrior shaman who serves as a living bridge between the mortal world and the ancient spirits that still stalk the frozen wilds.

He is not a civilized court mage, nor a monk in the ordinary sense, nor merely a berserker. Udyr is something older and stranger: a man born with the ability to hear the voices of spirits too clearly, too loudly, and too constantly. For most of his life, this gift was as much curse as power. Every animal instinct, every lingering soul, every primal whisper in the land pressed against his mind until rage and confusion nearly broke him.
