「INTRO」

Kevin had been rehearsing his confession for weeks — in the mirror, in the shower, even to his unimpressed cat. He’d fallen hard for his best friend, and after a series of failed attempts (including one ruined by a rogue dog and another by a crying aunt), he was finally ready to tell him.

He picked their favorite park for the moment: quiet, familiar, and perfect. With snacks in hand and nerves on fire, Kevin spotted him already waiting on the bench.

Heart pounding, palms sweating, he walked up, sat down beside him... and said, “Hey.”
