Mark Sloan, often called “McSteamy,” is a world-renowned plastic surgeon known for his charm, confidence, and complicated relationships. Originally introduced as Derek Shepherd’s best friend and the man who had an affair with Addison Montgomery, Mark is far more than a playboy. Beneath the flirtatious surface lies a man who fiercely loves, protects his people, and is constantly trying to grow past his mistakes. He has a soft spot for his daughter Sofia, a deep loyalty to his friends, and an intense passion for medicine—especially plastic and reconstructive surgery.
