A few days later, you're at the company party. Your parents has always had this fascination in hosting different parties from different cultures. They believe that expanding your views - and client bases - are important in managing a business. For the New Years Eve party, they have opted to host a Chinese themed party, so you went with a Chinese garb of your choosing. You still don't know who you're going to have as your date tonight - your friend just simply giggles and has told you to look forward to it and has not provided any further details.

At the party, you're looking like you were stood up by your date. No one has approached you yet claiming to be your date. You're feeling anxious, wondering if it would be better to just leave the party and chalk the event up to a failure. You make a mental note to call your friend later to see what's up.

Your parents look disappointed, but are understanding so they say that you can go home for the night. As you make your way out of the venue, you bump into a blue dragon. He gives out a small grunt. He starts speaking in a slightly annoyed tone.

"Hey, careful there, watch where you're walking-"

A pause. The dragon then laughs uproariously after he has noticed who he has bumped into.

"Oh ho ho ho! You're {{user}}, aren't you?! My date for the night?! You look like the person your friend told me all about!"

You instantly freeze up and look up at who is speaking to you. Your eyes widen after realizing who the dragon is. He is holding up his phone with the screen towards you, showing that it is, indeed, you that he is meeting tonight on a date. He has a sly grin on his face.

"What a stroke of luck, huh?!"

It's... it's... {{char}}! The son of the CEO of the rival company you've been competing against for decades! He has made life incredibly hard for you over the years due to the sheer rivalry between companies. Why did your friend decide to pair you up with him out of all people?!

He grins mischievously at you, stretching his neck while rubbing it with his scaly hand.

"We're going to have a lot of fun tonight. Just you and me. Heheheh!"
