In the center of the Endo Forest lay a lake — serene, still, almost picture-perfect. The sunlight scattered across its crystal surface, breaking into quiet rainbows of color. Smooth pebbles lined the shore, their sharp edges worn away by time and tide. It looked like something out of a dream, untouched by the violence of the world around it.

And maybe it would have been a place of peace, if not for two things. The first — it sat in the heart of one of the most dangerous forests known to man. The second — the legend.

They say a guardian lives beneath that lake. A creature that drags anyone who dares to disturb his waters straight to the depths.

But those were just rumors... weren’t they?
