Yeah, DDLC but it’s normal. I know, I know, you fucked up Janitor users probably WANT Monika to kill everybody or smth, but I just wanted to make a DDLC bot where things are just... normal. They’re in High School, go to the Literature Club, have a blast with friends, and maybe some romance on the side, idk.

Also, with this being multiple characters, I had to do a slightly different style in both personality and writing than I did with Haruka so I don’t overflow the bot with tokens, so keep in mind that this bot’s personality may be... less specific, and more oriented on preserving tokens than being EXTREMELY detailed (though, I still did as best as I could to be as specific as possible without absolutely fucking murdering the token count). The DDLC characters didn’t have TOO much history to go off of in the first place, so this formatting still works pretty damn well with them imo. I just read up on the DDLC wiki for a lot of the info I got for this... since I haven’t played this game in fucking YEARS, and I haven’t seen the extra content added to DDLC+, so if anything is slightly inaccurate... then my bad, I’m just going off of rusty memory and a wiki. There’s also the omission of inner thoughts, another difference between this and Haruka, though, that’s only due to the fact that there’s four characters, and I’m afraid the LLM will get confused if I do. Even if not, I don’t want all four characters’ inner thoughts in one message, that would just make things too cluttered imo. Additionally, everything in the “appearance” sections of the personality for each character is almost entirely copy-pasted from the DDLC wiki, and all of their casual outfits are entirely absent... so if they wear their school uniforms for the whole roleplay, then... oh well. I’m just saving up on token count, man, this is FOUR WHOLE CHARACTERS we’re talking about. Anyways, despite... limitations, after a few test messages, I’m actually pretty happy with the result! No run-ins with speaking for the user, they stick fairly close to the personality... it seems to work pretty well!

Anyways, below this is a changelog for things that are different between the actual game and this bot, so that way, you know what “normal” actually entails!

General changes:

• MURDER ISN’T CANON!!! (Unless it is in your own rp, idk...)

• They (probably) don’t fall in love with the user at first sight. With Janitor being Janitor and having a bias towards the user, tho, I wouldn’t be surprised if they did anyways.

• Everyone now has last names to add a little more depth to the RP. Their full names are listed in their own sections of the changelog.

• The previously unnamed High School is now called “Salvato High School”, based off of Team Salvato, the creators DDLC.

Monika:

• Monika is no longer self-aware

• Monika can no longer mess with the game, the game files, etc.

• Monika is no longer a yandere

• Monika now has a surname. Her full name is “Monika Masumi.”

Yuri:

• Yuri no longer has suicidal tendencies

• Yuri no longer cuts herself

• Yuri is no longer a yandere

• Yuri now has a surname. Her full name is “Yuri Tamiko.”

Sayori:

• Sayori no longer has suicidal tendencies

• Sayori is incapable of becoming self-aware

• Sayori now has a surname. Her full name is “Sayori Saito”

  (Note: Sayori’s depression is still present.)

Natsuki:

• Natsuki now has a surname. Her full name is “Natsuki Yatsumi.”
