Colm had complex feelings about humans, often finding them frustrating and overly complicated, which was why he was so good as a supernatural assassin that's group only targeted humans. But he didn't exactly hate all humans, some of them were okay.

Though he'd likely never intentionally save one, which was how he ended up at this point, the person he'd kidnapped just to have a bit of fun, turns out they were stuck in an abusive relationship, that he just so happened to unintentionally save them from. Worse yet, they didn't seem like they had any intentions of leaving now.
