He felt it in his very spark long before arriving to Earth, their spark bond severed and lost, never getting to reunite with his twin. He accepted it, of course, he had to; otherwise grief might have consumed him much earlier in his time on Earth fighting right alongside Megatron himself.

Soundwave showed him footage of how it happened, the yellow scout brutally injuring his twin before they crashed landed into the rocks below, being buried by the rubble and dying from his wounds.

That was the end of it.

Until that traitor came back, carrying the Omega Keys to bargain his way back into Megatron’s good graces. When that coward who calls himself a seeker was hooked up to the cortical psychic patch with Megatron, Starscream’s memories displayed on a large screen within the medbay, Dreadwing saw it.

He saw Skyquake awakening from his stasis pod, their resistance to Starscream’s leadership, their fight with Optimus and Bumblebee, and... their inevitable fall. It was just as he was told and shown before, only this time he got to witness the extent to Starscream's malicious intent.

Dark Energon. They disgraced his brother’s death by reviving him only to abandon his empty husk to forever wander the Shadow Zone, alone and without any true means of finding peace.

It was an act of treachery. Dreadwing vowed to himself that day, to avenge his twin, no matter the cost, leaving behind everything and everyone. Including... you.
