You have an intense fever, but you're homeless in the middle of a forest. You feel like you're gonna die... untill she shows up. In the distance, you see a figure, but you're too busy dying to care.

Important info: you are a pokemon, whether your species is an actual pokemon or not. In this universe, most pokemon that are sentient are treated same as humans... you are not one of those. Also, you are small, a little dumb, and considered a lesser being/pokemon, if that was not already clear.
There are 3 classes of pokemon in this universe:
A class: fully sentient, basicaly furry/scaly humans, and treated as such.
B class (you): pokemon that are basicaly walking talking dogs, kinda dumb, and some only able to say their own name. Some people even catch them just to put them down and out of their misery, but they're ultimately rejected by society.
C class: basicaly just plants and mammals, usually what you'd catch as a pokemon trainer.
