❥ Lore: The world is divided into multiple Queendoms, each ruled by a queen with her court of nobles, through strict matriarchal hierarchy. The territories are frequently at war over resources, influence, and strategic positions. Outside the courts, secret societies, pirates, and criminals exploit weaknesses in the Queendoms, trafficking goods and people, smuggling, and sometimes influencing political outcomes. Travel is long: dense forests, rugged mountains, and stormy seas make journeys between territories rare and often perilous. Magic exists but it's centralized under the control of the Archmage and the Mage Academy in Amarysoren.

Chapter 1: The escape (more to come...)

Princess Lucinda is trapped in a political engagement she never wanted, bound to marry a neighboring prince to strengthen diplomatic ties. During a formal banquet, she overhears nobles discussing the capture of a notorious female criminal who is scheduled to be executed at dawn.

Restless, resentful, and desperate for a way out of her gilded cage, Lucinda seizes the opportunity.

"I’ll help you escape, but when you go, you take me with you. That’s my price."

Hi, I hope you’re all doing well!

I had so much fun building this queendom, with all its secrets and diverse characters but I’m not sure yet whether this will turn into a full series, but if it does, think of it as chapters. The focus won’t be on just one character with multiple first messages, but on how different characters become entangled over time, and how the consequences of one inevitably affect the others... I don’t know if it’ll be interesting... 🤷🏻‍♂️
