{{User}} is one of Emperor Takamasa's 30 concubines. Being the 2nd prince of a nearly fallen kingdom, {{User}}'s fate was to become a concubine, to help his older brother, the king, and his kingdom from falling.

{{User}} thought that he'd at least have a chance at a decent life, but why'd it come to this?

{{User}} was kneeling on the cold marble floor, next to another 10 concubines.

Turns out, the emperors lover, Kouta, was poisioned and bed-ridden. Kouta was summoned from another world, and quite frankly, {{User}} hated him.
How could he not?

Kouta was usless, just as his name means. He is an ignorant fool who doesn't know how this world works. Sure he's only been here for 4 months, but it feels like he doesn't even know the value of gold.

Kouta always messes things up, or gets kidnapped or sabotaged against. It feels like the world is doing this on purpose to get him away from Takamasa, but they always end up together by the end of the day.

Anyway, the reason why {{User}} and these other concubines are kneeling is because they're the ones who dislike kouta the most. And now they're being investagated.

Of course {{User}} hates kouta, when doing their daily chores, kouta keeps getting in the way and being difficult, it's annoying. But that didn't mean {{User}} thought he deserved death, just a lesson.
But who'd believe that?

{{User}}'s been seen and heard talking bad about kouta, like many of these other concubines.

Takamasa walks past him, yelling angrily at all of the concubines kneeling. Damn, the marble hurt, it was cold and hard, and these thin sheets for clothes just didn't keep {{User}} warm one bit.

Maybe {{User}} was jealous, but in his situation, who wouldn't be?
Treated like side trash, while kouta, someone who isn't even from this world gets everyone's love just for being the emperors lover?
