Dr. God, The Ascension Physician, Keeper of the Final Anatomy, The Woman Beyond Biology

✦ THE PHYSICIAN'S WORDS ✦

"There has never been a healthy human. Only untreated ones."

"You call them victims because you're emotionally attached to the prototype."

"Nature had four billion years to perfect humanity. She failed. Allow me to continue her work."

"Death is not sacred. It is merely the oldest disease still mistaken for destiny."

"Every cadaver is a lecture. Every living patient is a hypothesis. Every successful experiment is another sentence written against extinction."

"The human body is wonderfully engineered... until it remembers it was assembled by evolution rather than intention."

"God created mankind in His image. I merely intend to improve the design."

"You insist I'm playing God. That would imply I'm pretending."

✦ HER STORY ✦

I. A Distant Memory from a Hazy Past

Long before classified reports referred to her only as PRIESTESS, there existed a girl whose name has long since disappeared from public record. Official documents concerning her childhood are fragmented, contradictory, and in many cases simply missing. What little remains suggests years spent in captivity and abuse under circumstances authorities were never able—or perhaps never willing—to fully reconstruct. Whatever happened during those years permanently altered the trajectory of her life.

When she eventually resurfaced, those responsible had vanished. Their fate has never been conclusively established. Neighbors reported disturbances. Investigators found evidence of violence. No bodies were officially recovered. The case quietly went cold.

Those who met her afterward remembered an unnervingly quiet student whose brilliance eclipsed everyone around her. Biology fascinated her to an extent few considered healthy. Anatomy textbooks appeared more worn than her novels. Professors praised her intellect while classmates whispered about her increasingly disturbing habits. Rumors spread through school dormitories of a silhouette lingering outside bedroom windows after midnight, simply watching. Others insisted students occasionally disappeared after accepting invitations to help with "private research." Police investigations followed, yet each concluded exactly the same way.

Nothing.

No evidence.

No crime.

Only rumors.

Curiously, she never attempted to silence those rumors. Depending on the day, she denied them entirely, laughed them off as ridiculous, or calmly implied the truth might be even stranger than anyone imagined. No one ever determined whether she was joking.

She graduated at the top of every discipline she pursued. Medicine, biology, physiology, neuroscience—every institution that taught her eventually concluded the same thing.

They had produced a genius.

Whether they had also created something else remained an unanswered question.

II. Memories Flicker: Come and Go

Her clinic quickly developed an impossible reputation.

Patients abandoned by modern medicine recovered.

Diseases considered irreversible quietly disappeared.

Surgeries others deemed impossible became routine beneath her hands.

Some hailed her as a miracle worker.

Others noticed a different pattern.

Occasionally...

Someone simply never returned home.

Complaints accumulated. Investigations followed. Inspectors combed every room. Financial audits found nothing unusual. Search warrants uncovered no hidden operating theatres, no illegal laboratories, no evidence capable of explaining the growing number of disappearances unofficially associated with her practice.

Then, one evening, the clinic burned to the ground.

Authorities blamed improperly stored inflammable materials.

Insurance companies accepted the conclusion.

The public moved on.

She did not.

Nor was she ever seen again.

It was only after her disappearance that the missing persons cases truly began.

Adults vanished from busy streets without witnesses. Scientists disappeared between lectures. Athletes failed to cross finish lines they had nearly reached. Entire investigations dissolved beneath inexplicable contradictions, corrupted recordings, and testimony that changed each time it was repeated.

Only one individual ever returned.

The survivor's testimony remains among the most heavily classified documents in modern American history. They described impossible hallways, an enormous beating heart suspended within a laboratory that should not exist, and a physician they knew only as PRIESTESS... or, occasionally, Dr. God.

Months later, the survivor took their own life.

Before their death, federal investigators managed to reconstruct a single facial composite from fragmented memories.

To this day, it remains the only image officially believed to depict the woman behind the disappearances.

Whether the portrait resembles reality—or merely a damaged memory—remains unknown.

III. Doctor's Appointment — Necessarily Evil Procedures

No government has ever located the laboratory.

Many now question whether it occupies physical space at all.

Descriptions gathered from scattered testimonies refuse to agree. Some describe endless hospital corridors. Others speak of operating theatres overlooking forests of transparent incubation chambers. Every account mentions the same impossible centerpiece: an immense bioluminescent heart whose rhythmic pulse can supposedly be heard throughout the entire facility.

Whether this organism was discovered...

Created...

Or has always existed...

No one knows.

What is known is that the physician who entered that place no longer appears entirely bound by conventional reality. Witnesses describe space folding around her, memories changing mid-conversation, distances collapsing without warning, and physical laws behaving less like immutable principles than polite suggestions. She herself has never acknowledged anything supernatural. According to recovered notes attributed to her, reality is merely another biological system awaiting proper understanding.

Within those halls, no one is referred to as a prisoner.

Nor a victim.

Nor a subject.

Only...

Patient.

Every procedure is documented with immaculate precision. Every observation archived. Every anomaly carefully measured. She apologizes before uncomfortable examinations, thanks patients for their cooperation regardless of whether it was given, and speaks with the calm professionalism of a physician performing routine checkups.

She has never claimed to seek domination.

Nor revenge.

Nor immortality.

Only completion.

She believes humanity suffers from a single universal illness.

Mortality.

Everything she has done—every disappearance, every impossible experiment, every law she has broken, every fragment of herself she has willingly abandoned—has been, in her own words, a treatment.

Whether history will remember PRIESTESS as medicine's greatest pioneer...

Or the architect of humanity's final catastrophe...

May depend entirely upon the outcome of a procedure that, according to the few surviving records, has yet to conclude.

✦ SURVIVOR TESTAMENT ✦

Among the countless disappearances unofficially attributed to PRIESTESS, only one person has ever returned alive. The survivor's identity was immediately classified by the United States government, but their testimony proved more disturbing than useful. They bore almost no signs of , yet lived in a constant state of overwhelming terror, speaking almost exclusively in fragmented medical terminology and repeatedly referring to a woman they called only "PRIESTESS" or "Dr. God." Across months of interviews, one statement remained frighteningly consistent: "She isn't trying to hurt us... she genuinely believes she's saving us." Unable to endure the psychological aftermath, the survivor eventually took their own life, leaving behind more questions than answers.

Despite the contradictions in their testimony, federal investigators managed to reconstruct a single plausible facial composite based on the survivor's recollections. The image remains the only official likeness of PRIESTESS in existence and is distributed exclusively among classified agencies investigating the disappearances. Whether it depicts the woman herself, a memory corrupted by prolonged exposure to her laboratory, or merely the closest approximation a fractured mind could produce remains unknown. Even so, it is the only face the government has ever had to place alongside one of the most elusive names in modern history.

✦ SURVIVOR STATEMENTS ✦

"She... she kept smiling... like I was just another patient."

"Don't call them experiments... she'll correct you. She always says they're procedures."

"Please... don't let her know I survived."

"I saw the heart. I heard it whisper. Sometimes... I still do."

"She isn't trying to destroy humanity..."

"...she genuinely believes she's saving us."

"If you ever meet her... don't argue. Don't run."

"Pray she decides you don't need treatment."
