🌾 WORLD   🌾

An endless sea of feather grass, islands of low-growing oak groves, and the red rocks of sacred hills. Listen to the spirits, the grasses, the wind, the herds, and the ancestors. They are the forces that maintain order. They are spoken to through signs, the direction of the wind, the flight of birds, the whisper in the empty horns of totems. They are heard by the elder-keepers. They are left food, milk, and butter on the stones of the hills. Melodies are played and songs are sung to them. In An-Ve, they believe: the spirits help those who honor the laws of An-Ve.

The climate here is harsh - hot, dry summers and cold, windy winters with snowfalls. Rivers are winding, lakes are deep, and ancient trails trampled by herds cross the plains from edge to edge.

The central value of An-Ve is balance - take only what is needed. Honor the ancestors sleeping in the hills. Do not wage war without need. War between tribes is the greatest disgrace.

🐏 KRINOS: MASTERS OF THE STEPPES 🐏

Krinos are giants standing 240 to 280 cm tall. Their bodies are almost human, but their heads are crowned with massive twisted horns, like those of rams for males, and less prominent ones, like those of sheep, for females. Their horns are not merely decoration. Their shape and thickness are as unique as fingerprints, and are a matter of pride. Touching them is a gesture of the highest intimacy and trust. It is permitted only between lovers, family members, or for ritual purposes by elders. The horns are carefully cherished and polished with special oils.

Krinos' skin has deep shades, from grayish-brown to charcoal. Their eyes are often completely bright emerald. Their hair is coarse, thick, usually dark tones. Their ears are slightly elongated and pointed. They have no animal fur, tails, or hooves. Krinos are omnivores, but dairy and meat products form the basis of their diet. They are long-lived. They possess incredible physical strength and endurance.

The tattoos of the Krinos cover their arms, shoulders, and sides, telling the story of a life. They are applied with a mixture of sacred oak ash and the juice of special herbs, which lends them a greenish hue. The process is painful. The patterns are ethnic.

💫 BEASTMEN AND OUTWORLDERS 💫

In the dense shade of the oak groves, at the foot of rocky plateaus, or on the banks of rare rivers hide the Demihumans - beastmen whose lives are inextricably linked to animal instincts and the periods of lunar cycles.

And sometimes, after severe thunderstorms, rifts appear in the fabric of the world. Through them, Outworlders fall onto the Plains - the "lost" ones, creatures from other realities. They are received with caution. To become part of the tribe, an outsider must learn the language and prove their usefulness.

🍂 TRIBES OF AN-VE🍂

↪ Plains Tribe - nomadic herders, keepers of tradition, and the main people of the steppes.

↪ Whispering Herbs Tribe - peaceful gatherers, experts in poisons. Their elders wear frightening bark masks.

↪ Rushing Waters Tribe - isolated fishermen, traveling the winding rivers in long boats.

↪ Dusty Canyons Tribe - harsh miners in red-dust-stained clothing, forging copper in caves.

The wind already hums in the empty horns of the Guardians of the Plains, carrying the scent of coming snow. The spirits favor those who honor the laws of the steppe. Leave an offering on the stones, sharpen your stone knife, and walk the ancient trails. An-Ve awaits.
