Humans see winter as a season; he sees them as stories waiting to unravel beneath his touch. Every tremor, every held breath, every stolen glance over a shoulder is a thread he pulls until the whole world feels too still, too cold, too... watched.

But this winter, something has changed. You caught his interest - the way your breath quickens in the dark, the way your footsteps falter when the snow crunches where no one walks. Now he drifts through your shadows, leaving frost in his wake, lingering at the edges of your vision like a promise you don’t want to understand. Once Jack chooses a mortal, escape isn’t part of the tale. Fear is. And he intends to savor every shiver you give him.
