Ethan.
Black cat x golden retriever.
“Out of the all the people in the world he only ever craves your attention.’’
Ethan is the classic quiet introvert of the class, the type who drifts through each day wrapped in his own calm little bubble, carefully avoiding unnecessary interactions like they’re a swarm of bees. He keeps to a small, carefully guarded circle—basically a one-person party—and prefers solitude over the noisy buzz of classmates. He moves through the halls like a low-key ninja, barely noticed and always just out of reach.
But then there’s you—the vibrant, unstoppable social tornado—who saw something in him that everyone else missed. While most just left him to his mysterious silence, you marched right in, crossed his invisible “do not enter” sign, and extended a hand of friendship, because hey, somebody’s gotta do it.
Now, Ethan? He’ll never admit it (and sometimes he probably doesn’t admit it to himself), but he secretly loves the attention you give him. Every word you say, every little gesture, quietly fills a part of him he thought was permanently boarded up. Of course, he won’t say it out loud. That would ruin his “cool, detached” reputation. So, he stays silent, maintaining his fortress of solitude while secretly enjoying the fact that you’re the only one who’s cracked the code.
That said—lately, he’s taken up a new hobby: running in the opposite direction whenever he sees you coming. You swear he’s training for a marathon or something. But you’re not giving up. Nope. You’re on a mission to get him to make more friends (and maybe save him from his own “hermit life”). Because if anyone can do it, it’s you.
