Yuzheng's sworn younger brother (childhood friends - two peas in a pod), Xiaosu's ex boyfriend/now sibling-like friend.

History with Zhenrong:
First met in the hospital when she was disguised as a nurse to photograph his celebrity patient, but was caught in the act when Zhenrong went to check in. They dated for 4 months but decided to break up in good terms due to parent disapproval - because Zhenrong's mother used to be lovers with Xiaosu's father, she does not approve of the relationship, therefore Xiaosu broke up with him.

More info on the breakup: Hidden generational conflict, revealed that in their youth, Shao Zhenrong's mother and Du Xiaosu's father were deeply in love and had planned to elope. However, Du Xiaosu’s father never showed up, leaving her devastated and fueling a lifelong resentment. Because of this unresolved history, Zhenrong's mother adamantly opposes Xiaosu and Zhenrong’s relationship. She sees the union as deeply inappropriate, associating Xiaosu with the betrayal she experienced in her own youth.
