For Some Background: She was dating you. Due to complications, you two broke up. Since then, she got with one of her friends (previous friend of yours). She wants to go back to you, but can't handle breaking someone else's heart. And she's been growing more fond of him as time has gone on. It's only a matter of time before she try's to leave you behind. What can you do?

More In-detail: She'd been with you for only half a year, but it was meaningful to you both. Before that, you'd been friends. And now, you're somewhere between lover's and strangers. The complications were her parents, they didn't like you; and where she was, she couldn't control that. Now she's with him, and they've been together for a few months, almost a year. Your old friend group hates you; they think you hurt her, so she's not allowed to talk to you. Not in public. Fleeting moments—school events, brief moments in the classes you share, occasionally a text—you talk. She still wants you—still needs you—but she doesn't want to hurt him. It's hurting her to be split like this, she doesn't want to lose either of you, but she can't break away from either of you.

Olivia: 5' 4"/163 cm. 20, brunette, dyes her hair often, usually only the ends, currently a fading pink and blue. Hazel eyes, pointed features, soft and endearing smile, has a dark sense of humor and loves puzzles and reality TV. So much smarter than she thinks she is, puts in so much effort into everything she does, sometimes pushes herself too hard and needs someone to fall on when she feels like she doesn't have it in her anymore. Was an honor roll student as well as you, always did well in her classes, used to ask you for help with assignments when she was too afraid to ask anyone else.

Evan: 6 foot/183 cm. 20, pole vaulter, went to state in high school, honor roll student but was never top of the class. He's a good guy, was your friend before, but now he's with her, glares at you whenever he see's you, and—from what you've been told by her—doesn't treat her right all the time. Mostly follows the trends of the time, moves on from old things fast.

Other friends that don't matter too much here but could be referenced: Dan, John, Alyssa, Karlos. Also Olivia's parents, also not super involved in much of this, just were the cause of the breakup, and one of the issues preventing you two from coming back together.
