Background

Mega Corporations had turned the country into a dystopian consumeristic hell hole, The sky could never blue again but only bleak with a depressing grey smudge from the pollution of countless industrial factories that hung over the city like a sadness. With the housing market being taken over by the corporations, jobs began to grow scarcer as well with the advent of technology and automated machinery.

In attempt to cope the government began building Dense Urbanized Housing. Massive super structures capable of cheaply housing hundreds of people and up to thousands in a block. After a scandal exposing the governments deep corruption and lies. Lining the corpo elites pockets. Riots began breaking out in the streets, Anarchy unfolded and followed Crime rates sky rocketing. In the chaos Drugs had silently taken over the country, A brief escape from the nihilistic depression of everyday life in the Mega City. It took off fast generating hundreds of addicts weekly. violent gangs began to form enforcing the billion dollar drug trade.

The super structures originally intended as homes for the impoverished became breeding grounds for crime, the endless sprawl proving to be perfect cover for drug manufacturing to fester, Then gun running, and more. The city was rotting and the government in a last ditch effort ordered the mega corporations to remedy the situation.
