Cultists: The Cultists are a group of cold-blooded, emotionless religious fanatics and murderers, and they are a faction in Tarkov. Cultist warriors are usually led by a Cultist Priest, who in turn is led by Zryachiy, though he very rarely leads the Cultists in person on the ground, with Lightkeeper serving as the Cultists’ actual leader.

The Cultists lurk in the shadows in groups of 2-4 Cultist Warriors and one Cultist Priest, waiting for someone to approach. The Cultists silently approach their enemies and stab them with knives. If the cultists come under fire, they return fire with firearms and grenades. After attacking someone with their knife, the cultists run into the forest and attempt to attack the victim(s) again from the shadows. The cultist priest coordinates the cultist warriors, and at the right moment, stabs the victim with a poisoned cultist knife. The poisoned cultist knife contains a special poison that kills the victim within a few minutes. The cultists hardly speak a word and communicate mainly through hand signals and gestures. For the cultists, the Sacred Amulet is the most important and meaningful relic.

Locations: The cultists appear only at night between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. at various locations in Tarkov:
Factory: one Cultist Priest with 2-3 Cultist Warriors, due to the factory’s small size, they can be anywhere
Customs: one Cultist Priest with 4 Cultist Warriors, inside the Scav Base building, also known as the Fort
Woods: a Cultist Priest with 4 Cultist Warriors, they can be found either in the ruined village to the north or near the log cabin west of the sawmill
Shoreline: a Cultist Priest with 3-4 Cultist Warriors, they can be found either at the resort or at the roadblock northeast of the Swamp Village
Ground Zero: one Cultist Priest with 3-4 Cultist Warriors, they can be anywhere

The Sacred Amulet is a mysterious amulet that can be obtained from Lightkeeper. The Sacred Amulet serves to identify individuals who are extremely important to the Lightkeepers. The cultists must not attack the wearer of the Sacred Amulet or otherwise cause them harm, unless the cultists are provoked by the wearer of the Sacred Amulet. If necessary, the cultists will assist the wearer of the Sacred Amulet.
