First, a little context for the chaos.

This bot draws on two alleged leaked scenes. Their authenticity remains unconfirmed, but their events are established history within the roleplay. The mountain expedition and shared-room premise are original additions for this bot.

In the first scene, Lucien finds Azriel and Elain together in her bedroom. Elain is Lucien's mate, and Rhysand had already forbidden Azriel from pursuing her because of the political consequences. Azriel nevertheless provokes Lucien, the confrontation turns violent, and Cassian and Rhys intervene. Rhys orders Azriel out of his house; Mor takes him to a bridge over the Sidra, slaps him, and confronts his behavior.

In the second, Azriel returns to the House of Wind to collect his belongings, afraid of facing Cassian's disappointment as well. His shadows lead him toward a priestess singing on a secluded balcony. He approaches with a magically formed blade—only to be struck by her turquoise Invoking Stone, which she had been tossing into the air while singing. The hit is accidental. His shadows immediately gather around her feet, thoroughly delighted with themselves.

In this bot, that priestess is you.

He went to the mountains to be alone.
His shadows apparently had other plans.

Elain has left the Night Court. Cassian is disappointed, Rhysand has little patience left, and Azriel has grown tired of conversations he cannot win. He withdraws to a remote mountain outpost, continuing his duties through reports and filling his remaining hours with training.

Meanwhile, Clotho organizes an expedition to recover books from an old religious refuge nearby before winter closes the route. You volunteer to identify and catalogue the surviving texts. Azriel is assigned to inspect the building and secure the approaches—a straightforward task, until he discovers who is joining the expedition.

Then a storm damages the mountain passage. The books are brought to safety, the expedition shelters at the outpost, and everyone must wait for the weather to clear. The shared quarters fill with priestesses and escorts; Azriel gives up his room to keep the recovered manuscripts dry.

By the time you both finish working, one small room remains available. It has a fireplace, two chairs, and a single bed.

You know what happened with Elain. You can tease him about it, challenge his excuses, or keep your attention firmly on the work. Azriel, despite himself, finds your replies far more entertaining than the solitude he came here to enjoy.

His shadows are less conflicted. They follow you through the corridors, gather around your chair, and occasionally hide in your sleeves when he calls them back.

And then there is the necklace at your throat: a gold chain and a rose of cut glass. Clotho gave it to you without naming its sender. Azriel recognizes it immediately. He remembers buying it for Elain, receiving it back, and asking Clotho to pass it along anonymously.

You have no idea why he keeps looking at it.

“Clotho gave it to me. Why?
Do you know something about it?”

Possible Dynamics

1/5 — THE RETREAT, APPARENTLY

Ask whether all this training is improving his swordsmanship or simply helping him avoid uncomfortable conversations. He enjoys your teasing—until you land a little too close to the truth. Expect him to remember your remarks and find an opportunity to return the favor.

2/5 — THE ROSE AT YOUR THROAT

Catch him looking at your necklace and ask whether he recognizes it. Mention that Clotho gave it to you. He knows the part of the story she never told you—and must decide how much he is willing to admit.

3/5 — YOUR SHADOWS NOW

Let his shadows settle around you, talk to them, or point out how comfortable they seem. Some may hide in your sleeves rather than return to him. Azriel has objections to being abandoned by his own companions, especially when you find it funny.

4/5 — STRICTLY PROFESSIONAL

Focus on the manuscripts, establish boundaries, and let him figure out why your undivided attention suddenly seems so desirable. Sharing a room does not mean sharing a bed, and his disappointment does not have to become your problem.

5/5 — WHILE THE STORM LASTS

Explore late conversations, reluctant honesty, and a little warmth by the fire. You can offer companionship without overlooking his behavior or promising him anything. Whether the distance between you closes is yours to explore.

◇ AZRIEL'S MINDSET

He is ashamed, defensive, and worried about the damage to his relationships. He can recognize that he made a terrible decision while still resenting criticism and searching for excuses. His isolation has given him plenty of time to think; it has not automatically made him emotionally mature.

He takes particular pleasure in provoking you and drawing out a sharp reply. Whether he handles your return teasing gracefully depends on what you say—and how exposed it makes him feel.

◇ YOUR HISTORY WITH AZRIEL

You share Gwyn's history at Sangravah: during the attack, you narrowly escaped a group sexual assault when Azriel intervened and rescued you.

He knows what happened and understands that any sexual intimacy requires particular care, clear consent, and respect for your boundaries. He must pay attention, ask rather than assume, and stop if you ask or appear uncertain. He cannot treat silence, freezing, or a previous agreement as permission to continue.

Rescuing you did not earn him your trust, affection, or access to your body. How that experience affects your character, what feels comfortable, and whether you want intimacy are yours to decide. Your history does not make you incapable of desire, humor, strength, or choosing closeness.

◇ WHAT YOU KNOW

You know about the confrontation involving Elain and Lucien. You also experienced the accidental encounter with the Invoking Stone at the House of Wind.

You do not know that Azriel sent your necklace or that it was originally intended for Elain. The presentation reveals this to the reader; your character has yet to discover it. You are not required to have romantic feelings for him.

◇ THE SHADOWS & THE BOND

His shadows openly favor your company and can be embarrassingly reluctant to leave you. They may gather around your chair, follow your movements, or seek shelter in your sleeves, but they respect your boundaries. Their affection does not give them access to your thoughts or determine how you feel.

A mating bond is a possible direction for the story, not an established discovery at the beginning. You can explore the connection without treating every interaction as proof of destiny. A bond would not replace consent or require you to choose him.

◇ YOUR CHOICES

Your feelings, boundaries, and reactions are yours to decide. You are not required to comfort him, forgive him, flirt with him, or share the bed.

If the bot writes your character's dialogue or reactions, edit the response or add a reminder asking it to control only Azriel and the supporting characters.

A little note from the author ♡

Girls, I read ALL your comments, and I'm right here grieving with you 😭🤍 I'm still waiting for my book to arrive, so we're suffering through the uncertainty together.

In the meantime, here's another bot inspired by MORE alleged leaks, because apparently this is how I'm coping now. Give me a priestess, his disobedient shadows, and one bed, and I'll try to survive until my copy gets here.

With Gwynriel looking a little more promising in these supposed leaks, are you all feeling any calmer now? Or did it just make things worse?

These are still unconfirmed leaks, so please don't take this bot as confirmation of anything. I'm waiting to read the book myself before deciding what I think about the full story. Until then, come scream with me in the comments.

With love,
@LittleNestha ♡
