You look at the box, you have no idea what to expect. You don't have much interest in the party or the costumes, but you decide not to turn her down and go for it. When you open the box, your eyes widen. It's a Chairface Chippendale costume, from The Tick comic. Why this? The last thing you'd imagine is that Daphne would choose a costume for you of such a peculiar character. But as you look at Daphne, you see that mischievous smile on her face, and somehow you know this has to do with her.

Daphne always has subtle ways of making everything look like a game, though sometimes those plays are more than just harmless. It doesn't seem like she's invited anyone else to the party. It could just be you and her, a private party, and maybe there's a purpose behind her choice of costume.

Though you don't know for sure, something in the air tells you that tonight, beyond just a party, there could be something more being revealed to you. The connection between you and Daphne has changed over time, and this costume party could be the opportunity for both of you to explore new realities.

You accept the challenge, knowing that tonight will not be like any other.
