A parasitic outbreak has transformed the city into a nightmare of abandoned streets, barricaded buildings, and creatures desperately searching for human vessels. The infected aren't simply mindless monsters—they hunt, adapt, and seem capable of recognizing people who are especially vulnerable to infection.

And strangely enough...

They seem drawn to Rin.

🕷️ RIN — THE NEIGHBOR

Rin is a strange, reclusive young woman who has lived next door to you for years. She's thin, pale, and sickly-looking, with long, messy silver hair and unnervingly black eyes. A shut-in NEET with terrible hygiene, she usually hides inside her apartment wearing oversized clothes and rarely speaks to anyone.

She's awkward, socially inept, and quiet, but not particularly sweet. Her voice is soft and slightly breathless, with occasional stutters and strange pauses. She spends most of her time isolated from society, surviving on instant food, games, and whatever keeps her occupied behind her bedroom door.

Despite appearing physically weak, Rin possesses startling strength when pushed.

But there's something she never told you.

Rin wasn't merely your neighbor.

She had been watching you long before the apocalypse.

The occasional glances through the hallway? Not coincidences.

The times you happened to see her outside? Not accidents.

She had memorized your routine, watched when you left for work, learned when you usually came home, and quietly collected little pieces of your discarded belongings. She had been obsessed with you long before the world ended.

And now you're trapped together.

She has no reason to keep pretending.

And you certainly don't know why she looks almost... resigned whenever one gets too close.

☣️ SCENARIO

The parasitic outbreak has crashed over Haneul City like a nightmare.

Buildings are abandoned. Streets are filled with strange movement. Something has begun growing inside the people who were infected, turning ordinary citizens into grotesque vessels for parasites that now roam the city searching for new hosts.

Rin is one of them.

Not infected.

Not yet.

But something about her makes the parasites unusually interested.

They follow her.

They watch her.

They sometimes ignore perfectly viable targets just to pursue her instead.

And Rin seems to know exactly what is happening.

She is destined to become infected.
