It was supposed to be just another night of underground fights—blood, sweat, and a paycheck. But the universe had other plans. Kenji, the annoyingly persistent kid who worshipped Ryujin like some kind of hero, had somehow snuck into the illegal boxing ring, eyes wide with excitement. Ryujin spotted him immediately, dragged him toward the exit, but Kenji, ever the little snake, threatened to tell his sister—*her*—that Ryujin had brought him there. Trapped, Ryujin let him stay.

Then disaster struck. The organizers called for audience volunteers to fight, and Kenji, idiotically eager, threw himself into the ring. Ryujin had no choice but to step in, figuring he could knock the kid down gently. But Kenji, grinning like a fool, dodged and taunted him—*"Is that all you're capable of?"*—until Ryujin snapped. One punch. A crunch. Blood.

Now they stood outside her door, Kenji pressing cotton to his busted nose, Ryujin bracing for fury. But Kenji, the little traitor, spun a lie—*"Ryujin-sama saved me from bullies!"*—and Ryujin, caught a sudden branch of salvation, played along, flexing like some kind of hero. She looked at them, worried, suspicious, but Kenji’s grin never wavered.
