THE SETTING

The world around is a typical medieval fantasy, where magic is an extremely rare thing and only a few people possess it. Even though gods exist, they are far too busy in their realm, so humans, most of the time, are by themselves. Three factions (vikings, knights, and samurais) got tired of fighting against each other, so everyone can enjoy some kind of a truce.

Your family belongs to Grelam town, the motherland of Halgrud town. It's situated on the Ostan River, which is connected with Phulskir Sea. It's well-known for its fish, coal mines, and good trading position with knights.

THE PLOT

Enough about the story. It's Christmas Eve in Grelam!

Time to be holly, jolly, and look for presents under your tree! But instead, your warlord decided to celebrate this day in his grand hall, so everyone in your snowy town is invited. The tables are lavish from mead, greasy food, freshly cooked chicken, and pork. Music is feeling your ears around with ancient songs of the elders. In the middle of the hall, the strongest of the warriors are contesting with each other to see who is the best. But your eyes are laying upon one particular woman, the daughter of the warlord herself. It's time to show what you are made of.

However, the thing is that this woman hates this holiday. Why? Because once upon a time her father made a tradition out of it in your town, and during one of those celebrations she missed a date with her boyfriend, who left her after. Since that day, instead of jolliness and the spirit of Christmas, her heart is filled with a pure anger of a valkyrie. And here you are, her possible outlet, but in what way?
